SUPERIORITY OF PTFE INSULATED CABLES OVER CONVENTIONAL CABLES
Upper service Temperature : PTFE insulated wires cab be used in continous service upto 260 oC.
Over Load Current Protection : Withstands over heating due to temporary current over loads. Greatly reduces risk of flashover in tightly bundled control wiring and subsequent damage to nearby wires.
Fire Protection : Will not propagate flame or serve as fuel for fire.
Soldering Iron Heat Resistance : On exposure to hot soldering irons no damage occurs.
Heat Stability : Electrical properties of PTFE are not affected by long term heating.
Chemical and Weather Resistant : Unaffected by long term exposure to virtually all chemicals and corrosive environments. Does not absorb water and unaffected by ultraviolet radiation.
Resistant to Mechanical Abuse : Due to tuff insulation, PTFE resists damage due to rough handling.

SUPERIORITY OF PTFE AS CABLE INSULATION
Outstanding thermal chemical and electrical properties.
Operating temperature range as high as -260 oC to +260 oC
Completely resistant to attack by all chemicals except flourines.
Unaffected by lubricants, hydraulic fluids and aircraft fuels.
Dielectric constant independently of temperature and excellent surface arc resistivity.
Best dielectric properties in any flexible insulation.
